Each week the class will focus on a specific part of the body to relieve stress and gain strength in that area.

Active Vinyasa:  Students will be guided through a warm up derived from sun salutations. The class is a flow that builds as we go while you connect movement with breath. Breathe deeply, strengthen and tone your muscles and core, while you enjoy your practice.

Subbing dates:

Yoga for Teens:  This class is designed for teens to work on strength and flexibility, develop self-esteem, concentration, and coordination.  The class provides tools to reduce the stress of daily life, enhance one's mood, and balance school, work, and life.  Strategies for dealing with life situations independently will be provided as well.  Each class offers poses, balance work, breath work, relaxation, and the space to take a break from busy lives.  All teens are welcome!

Vinyasa FlowThis class is intended for students who have a regular yoga practice, and are ready for a more challenging flow. The body is in motion much of the time and asanas are held longer to build strength and explore awareness. By synchronizing movement and breath, you will build internal heat and encourage detoxification through sweat. We will learn a variety of arm balances, backbends and inversions and use the more challenging asanas as a gateway to self-discovery.

Yin/Yang Fusion:
This is a truly balanced class that will incorporate both yin yoga and Vinyasa yoga. The class will begin with an active flow to energize and warm the body with a focus on building strength, balance & flexibility. We will then slip into a Yin class, which is quiet and focuses on longer holds that allow the connective tissues and joints of the body to open, increasing flexibility while creating a calm and centered mind. This lovely combination will leave you feeling energized and centered!

Family Yoga:  The whole family is welcome in this fun, interactive, all levels class.  Kids under 5 are free!

Vinyasa:  After warming up through breathing and stretching, poses are dynamically linked to flow from one to the other in order to increase strength, flexibility, balance, and presence of mind.  Attention is placed on the breath and the journey between the asanas rather than solely on achieving body alignment in a pose.  All levels are welcome!

Sunday:  9:00-10:15am (Moderate Yoga)

Thursday:  5:30-6:45pm (Active Yoga)

Moderate Yoga:  Moderate classes offer more active movement than gentle but still create space for resting and breathwork. Expect transitions from standing to floor, and some introduction to moderately challenging poses. The instructor provides options to make this class more or less physically active depending on your energy and ability level.

Active Yoga:  Our active classes are for people who want a vigorous experience.  That looks different on each person's body, due to many factors.  Whether you have been practicing for many years, or are just getting started, this class can be adapted to your needs.  Expect flowing movement, as well as longer held poses.  Expect to sweat and work with the opportunities that come from strength building.
